曾梵志:艺术家必须自恋


Zeng fanzhi, artists must be narcissism

    

   

    作为中国“最昂贵的当代艺术家”,曾梵志在上海外滩美术馆8月12日最新开幕的个展上,犹如一位影视明星――超过30多家国内外媒体将其包围轰炸。

  外滩美术馆二层所陈列的,堪称曾梵志的作品精髓。两幅长达10米的巨幅画作,展现出野火焚烧的旷野。干枯的枝条痉挛地伸向天空,白炽的火焰在后面跳跃,留下一些颤动的暗红积炭。这种气氛沉静诡异的画作,如今已被艺评家们评为“独一无二的乱笔画”――看似杂乱无章,实际上却是被井然有序地安排。

  在展览中,曾梵志也把自己对于“画作与空间”的关系作了全新展示。美术馆旁的一个旧式小教堂,被他借用过来,做成一件完整的艺术品。他将自己的画作贴到教堂四面的玻璃上,乍看之下,如同玻璃镶贴画。当你站在教堂中央,光线透过四面不同色调的画面照射下来,形成一种新奇的感受――原本威严的教堂变得诡异起来,那些画面上因为窗格而分割开的猛犸象的倒影,集中到教堂中央一个以布覆盖的圣母雕像上――此种忧郁和压抑让位于了凝重和崇高。
