    中国天眼之父南仁东。

   南仁东1945年出生于吉林辽源，被誉为中国“天眼之父”。

   在担任FAST工程首席科学家兼总工程师期间，南仁东负责500米口径球面射电望远镜的科学技术工作，带领团队接连攻克多个技术难关，确保FAST项目落成投入使用，使得我国在单口径射电望远镜领域内，处于世界领先地位。

   2019年，南仁东被授予“人民科学家”荣誉称号，并被评选为“最美奋斗者”。

Nan Rendong was born in 1945 in Liaoyuan, Jilin Province, and is known as the "father of Heavenly Eye" in China.

While serving as the chief scientist and chief engineer of FAST Project, Nan Rendong was responsible for the scientific and technological work of the five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope and led his team to overcome multiple technical difficulties in a row, ensuring the completion and operation of FAST project, making China a world leader in the field of single-aperture radio telescopes.

In 2019, Nan rendong was awarded the honorary title of "People's Scientist" and voted "The most Beautiful Striver".
