诺贝尔医学奖获得者屠呦呦。

屠呦呦1930年12月出生于浙江宁波，是中国第一位获得诺贝尔科学奖的本土科学家，也是第一位获得诺贝尔医学奖的华人科学家。

屠呦呦从中医药典籍和中草药入手，经过多年的试验研究，研发出了“青蒿素”，一种有效治疗疟疾的药物，挽救了世界多国数百万人的生命。

2015年，屠呦呦荣获诺贝尔医学奖，2019年又荣获“共和国勋章”。

Born in December 1930 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, Tu youyou was the first Chinese scientist to win the Nobel Prize in science and the first Chinese scientist to win the Nobel Prize in medicine.

After years of experimental research, tu Youyou developed artemisinin, an effective malaria treatment that has saved millions of lives in many countries.

She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2015 and the Medal of the Republic in 2019.
